Eyebombing is the act of setting googly eyes on inanimate things in the public space. Peter and Cirkus coined the word and concept one idle tuesday afternoon autumn 2011. We created the website, and that was that. Or so we thought – because the phenomenon went viral. Mostly due to careful seeding, and well.. a good idea

The concept has been covered in Gawker, on Oprah.com, Laughing Squid and several other big media outlets. When the sensation was at it’s hottest, the search on “googly eyes” hit a worldwide record on google.com (December 2011).
